Development Data Manager

What You Need

  • Associate’s Degree in Business, Finance or related degree and three plus years’ experience in a role managing a customer relationship management (CRM) database preferred; or any combination of training, education and experience which would provide the required knowledge, abilities and skills to successfully perform in this role.
  • Experience utilizing Raiser’s Edge, preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty independently and satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with agency leadership, donors, prospects, volunteers and a variety of community stakeholders.
  • Possess strong team-building, multi-tasking, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of fundraising principles, strategies, processes, and available resources.
  • Ability to be proficient in all aspects of database entry and administration, including preparation and entry of data, performing queries, exports, program configuration, generating reports, report design, data analysis and trouble shooting.
  • Must be experienced with general finance and accounting procedures used in office settings.
  • Ability to make evaluative judgments.
  • Ability to maintain records.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be familiar with standard Microsoft Office applications and proficient in Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge or similar contact data management system.
  • Must have sensitivity to the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and ethics.
